RSF Awards $1 Million Challenge Grant to Green For All
In an inspiring counterpoint to recent news coverage of the economy, RSF recently made a $1 million challenge grant to Green For All. This forward-thinking nonprofit works to build an inclusive green economy strong enough to lift people out of poverty.
The grant is intended to leverage contributions from other sources toward Green For All’s $5 million fundraising goal for 2008-09; read the full press release here. To meet the challenge and support this important work, contact Charlotte Brody, Green For All’s Director of Programs at (510) 663-6500 x330, or charlotte@greenforall.org.
Green For All Founder Van Jones recently published his new book, The Green Collar Economy: How One Solution Can Fix Our Two Biggest Problems. In its first week on the market, it has already made the New York Times Best Seller List!
