Senator Boxer Shows Support for Green Jobs
Last week, California Senator Barbara Boxer paid a visit to Solar Richmond in the East Bay to show her support for green collar jobs and witness them in action. Solar Richmond is an organization that trains low-income residents on solar installation, and their model has been a leading example in the national conversation on green jobs. Ms. Boxer applauded the nonprofit for being ahead of the curve in moving their community towards a clean energy future. To watch a clip about Senator Boxer’s visit to Richmond, click here.
