Bainbridge Graduate Institute Receives Grant of Accreditation
RSF grantee Bainbridge Graduate Institute (BGI) in Washington state, which was the first graduate school in the U.S. to offer an MBA in Sustainable Business, recently announced that they were awarded an initial grant of accreditation for several of their programs through the end of 2012. Founded in 2002, BGI has graduated over 200 students imbued with a mission to build enterprises that are financially successful, socially responsible, and environmentally sustainable. Commenting on the milestone, president & co-founder Gifford Pinchot III expressed thanks: “We are deeply grateful to all the students, graduates, faculty, and donors who had the courage to work for and study in and support a small, unaccredited school with the ambitious goal of transforming business in the direction of sustainability and social justice.” To read a press release about the accreditation on CSRwire, click here.
