RSF Borrowers Blogging for Huffington Post Books
Praveen Madan and Christin Evans, RSF borrowers and owners of The Booksmith in San Francisco, are some of the newest contributors on the widely read Huffington Post news website and blog. The Huffington Post launched the newest section of their site, HuffPost Books, just two weeks ago with the New York Review of Books as partner. Praveen and Christin, who bought the 30-year-old Booksmith in 2007 and are running the community-focused, thriving independent bookstore in the heart of San Francisco’s Haight Ashbury district, were invited to blog regularly for HuffPost Books. Check out the couple’s first posts: “Why Did We Quit Our Cushy Corporate Jobs to Reinvent Independent Bookselling?” and “Why All the Fuss About ‘Independent’ Bookstores?“ Follow their blogging at huffingtonpost.com/books or huffingtonpost.com/praveen-madan.
