Solio Launches New Charger for Apple Products
RSF borrower Better Energy Systems (BES), maker of the popular Solio (solar charger) has just debuted a new charger that is certified to function with Apple products like iPhones and iPods. Solios are lightweight, palm-sized mobile power devices that capture the sun’s energy using photovoltaic panels. In the words of Chris Hornor, CEO & founder of BES, “Apple’s popular and much-adored iPhones and iPods have enabled people to be connected and entertained virtually anywhere in the world. Given this portability, consumers will inevitably be – at some point – away from a power source. With Solio’s Apple-specific portable power pack, you’re never without a back-up plan.” Solios are the only chargers made of 80% recycled and recyclable materials, and the batteries can be sent back to BES after use for responsible disposal.
