RSF Lends to Oakland School for the Arts!
RSF is pleased to announce that we recently closed a loan to the Oakland School for the Arts (OSA), located here in the San Francisco Bay Area. The mission of the tuition-free charter school is to provide students with intensive conservatory-style training in the arts while maintaining a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum. Founded in 2000, the combination middle school and high school recently began occupying space in Oakland’s newly renovated Fox Theater, which also serves as a venue for live student performances. This partnership between an historic theater and a public arts school is one of a kind, and presents unique opportunities to OSA students for hands-on experience in a working theater. We at RSF are very excited about this new loan, so please stay tuned to our website for future stories about the school. To learn more about the Oakland School for the Arts, visit: www.oakarts.org.
