Gary Schick, Chief Financial Officer

Gary Schick has served as the Chief Financial Officer of RSF Social Finance since 2004, and currently manages all financial and mission related investing activities. During his tenure at RSF, he has also managed – and continues to oversee – the organization’s legal, accounting, operations, systems, and administration functions. Gary finds it rewarding to work with staff, investors, donors, borrowers, and grantees who share the goal of creating social impact, knowing that this collective work is making a difference.

Prior to joining RSF, Gary served as Chief Financial Officer at several financial service organizations including CompuFund, Midwest Pacific Financial, and Frank Howard Allen Realtors. He has over twenty years of financial, management, and operational experience with firms large and small, from startups to multi-company organizations with up to 150 employees and $800 million in transaction volume. Gary earned a BS in Business Administration, with an emphasis in accounting and finance, from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a California CPA and Real Estate Broker. He lives in San Francisco with his wife, Mary.
