Bios

Mark Herrera

Mark HerreraMark Herrera has been with RSF since 1998, and manages development efforts with a focus on investors in RSF’s social enterprise lending program. His passion is building relationships with clients, and he has helped grow the portfolio of investors from $10 million to the current $100 million.

His previous experience includes working in finance for public relations and in book publishing marketing. An avid cyclist and published poet, Mark holds a Master’s Degree in English from Hollins University.

 

Melinda Cheel

Melinda CheelMelinda Cheel oversees RSF’s Marketing & Communications team. She’s responsible for managing the RSF brand and developing & implementing communications strategies.

Previously she was Executive Director of the Green Chamber of Commerce and received an MBA in Sustainable Enterprise from Dominican University. She spends most of her free time hiking, snowboarding, and surfing.

 

Catherine Covington

Catherine Covington 2Catherine Covington manages the day-to-day operations of RSF’s Development team, helping manage key client relationships, cultivate new clients, and raise funds for RSF programs.  Until recently, she was a part of the Philanthropic Services department, where she managed the incoming gifts and outgoing grants process for RSF’s donor advised fund clients. Originally from Georgia, we’re thrilled Catherine made her way to San Francisco. You’ll have a hard time finding her sitting still!
