Seed Fund grantees offer innovative solutions that further the field of social finance or address issues in food & agriculture, education & the arts, or ecological stewardship.
This small but impactful fund allows RSF staff to review proposals from any eligible candidate, giving new and potentially transformative projects an avenue to become part of the RSF community.
The fund is supported annually by unrestricted gifts to RSF rather than from an endowment. The fund is advised by a rotating group of staff members who review the proposals and then decide which projects will receive grants. Staff members enjoy a chance to participate in the grant-making process. Their diverse professional backgrounds and expertise ensure that we have a fresh perspective in each grant-making cycle.
