Alex manages the day-to-day operations of the Philanthropic Services department, including due diligence, compliance, and client service. Previously, he has held positions in philanthropic operations and project management at The San Francisco Foundation and Tides. He received a BA in Comparative Literature from Cornell University and serves on the Board of Trustees of Telluride Association, an educational non-profit.
Catherine Covington manages the day-to-day operations of RSF’s Development team, helping manage key client relationships, cultivate new clients, and raise funds for RSF programs. Until recently, she was a part of the Philanthropic Services department, where she managed the incoming gifts and outgoing grants process for RSF’s donor advised fund clients. Originally from Georgia, we’re thrilled Catherine made her way to San Francisco. You’ll have a hard time finding her sitting still!
Reed is responsible for identifying potential new borrowers and determining funding alignment. Reed also works with existing RSF Social Finance borrowers. Previously, he worked for an asset-building coalition as an AmeriCorps VISTA as well as a licensed representative for Fidelity Investments. Reed studied Business and Sociology while at Tarleton State University.
