Mark Herrera has been with RSF since 1998, and manages development efforts with a focus on investors in RSF’s social enterprise lending program. His passion is building relationships with clients, and he has helped grow the portfolio of investors from $10 million to the current $100 million.
His previous experience includes working in finance for public relations and in book publishing marketing. An avid cyclist and published poet, Mark holds a Master’s Degree in English from Hollins University.
Catherine Covington manages the day-to-day operations of RSF’s Development team, helping manage key client relationships, cultivate new clients, and raise funds for RSF programs. Until recently, she was a part of the Philanthropic Services department, where she managed the incoming gifts and outgoing grants process for RSF’s donor advised fund clients. Originally from Georgia, we’re thrilled Catherine made her way to San Francisco. You’ll have a hard time finding her sitting still!
Alex manages the day-to-day operations of the Philanthropic Services department, including due diligence, compliance, and client service. Previously, he has held positions in philanthropic operations and project management at The San Francisco Foundation and Tides. He received a BA in Comparative Literature from Cornell University and serves on the Board of Trustees of Telluride Association, an educational non-profit.
