Belay Enterprises

Belay Enterprises is a faith-based non-profit organization that creates social enterprises to employ and job train individuals rebuilding their lives from addiction, homelessness, and prison. Belay employees participate in a one-year program, during which they undergo a life skills curriculum inclusive of topics such as healthy living, personal finance, and computer skills. Founded in 1994 in Denver, CO, Belay’s first venture was Bud’s Warehouse, a home improvement thrift store stocked with building materials donated by local builders, homeowners, and vendors. Subsequent enterprises include New Beginnings Custom Woodworks and Freedom Cleaning Services, among others.
