Ryan Marie Decker
Ryan Marie Decker is a Project Director at the Santa Fe Community Foundation where she manages the New Mexico Impact Investing Collaborative and supports the foundation’s impact investing activities. In her role Ryan is leading the development and implementation of an innovative place-based collaborative impact investing model and sourcing opportunities for foundations and philanthropists seeking investments that positively impact communities throughout New Mexico. Ryan is an experienced investment professional having worked on investment teams at institutional asset managers including the global reinsurer Swiss Re, global fund-of-funds Man Group plc, and a multi-billion private family office in Switzerland covering public and private market investment strategies across developed and emerging markets. Ryan’s impact investing experience includes working with early-stage impact investment managers and ventures in agriculture, education, conservation and microfinance. She came to the Santa Fe Community Foundation from the CDC Group plc, the UK’s development finance institution based in London. Ryan graduated from the Huntsman Program in International Studies & Business at the University of Pennsylvania in 2001 where she specialized in public policy and management and French, and studied abroad in St. Louis, Sénégal. In 2013 Ryan completed the Oxford Impact Investing Programme at the Saïd School of Business. Ryan grew up in the Rocky Mountains near Boulder, Colorado and has lived in Japan, France, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
