The Tucson Waldorf Education Association (TWEA) was founded in 1992 to serve the community by creating a Waldorf school worthy of all children. It opened its first school in 1993, and in 2006, with the approval of the Associated Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA), the Tucson Waldorf Education Association officially changed its name to the Tucson Waldorf School. Today the Tucson Waldorf School offers grades first through eighth, kindergarten, nursery, and parent/child classes.
