Position Summary:

RSF Social Finance seeks to hire a full-time Client Services Associate/Senior Associate who will apply her/his professional experience and expertise to advance RSF’s vision, mission, and values. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to grow their skills and expertise in investor relations with a focus on fund administration and client support. The Associate/Senior Associate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administration of RSF’s Social Investment Fund (SIF), including providing exceptional client service and transactional support for RSF’s 1600+ Social Investment Fund investors. This position will also provide valuable assistance to RSF’s Client Engagement team through program coordination and data management.


Social Investment Fund (SIF) Administration

  • Open new SIF notes and update details on existing SIF notes as requested by clients
  • Process and record investor transactions and ensure accuracy of client fund financial information in Salesforce database
  • Coordinate quarterly investor disbursement process and statement mailing process, including meticulous management of data entry and documentation and liaising with various teams internally

Client and Internal Inquiries

  • Act as primary contact for investor requests related to their SIF notes, ensuring a warm client experience and meticulous completion of requests
  • Act as a contact for potential investor inquiries, providing a positive first-impression and clear overview of RSF and SIF
  • Coordinate with various departments internally to complete investor requests in a timely manner

Program Coordination and Data Management

  • Manage filing systems and CRM (Salesforce) database, acting as a power user within the organization and keeping meticulous records of all interactions with existing and potential investors
  • Develop and generate Salesforce reports for internal and external use regularly and as needed to inform and guide client stewardship and fundraising priorities
  • Assist with special projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • 2-4 years’ experience in a client-facing role providing administrative and/or transactional support
  • Experience working with investors, donors, investees or grantees a plus

Communication Skills:

  • Fluency in oral and written English required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail to ensure communications are free of grammatical errors and typos
  • Exceptional interpersonal and listening skills required, with sensitivity and appreciation for diverse viewpoints and various communication styles
  • Capacity and commitment to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive client information

Finance and Analytical Skills:

  • Solid grasp of general math; basic understanding of general finance terminology with a desire to deepen understanding of finance

Technical and Administrative Skills:

  • Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or another CRM strongly preferred; ability and desire to gain Salesforce proficiency required

  • Ability to exercise good judgment, manage time effectively to solve problems, and respond appropriately to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
  • Adaptability and willingness to shift priorities as team needs or fundraising priorities change
  • Commitment to the vision, mission, and values that inform RSF’s work

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to use a computer for extended periods of time up to eight hours per day
  • Must be able to frequently communicate orally and by telephone

Attendance and Availability:

  • Must be able to work at RSF’s offices during regular office hours as set forth in RSF’s Employee Manual
  • Must be available to occasionally work outside of regular office hours when needed
  • Ability to occasionally attend relevant in-person or virtual events or webinars on behalf of Client Engagement team

Compensation & Benefits:

The expected initial salary for this position is expected to be in the $49,200-$63,000 range depending on experience. Other benefits include:
