Anathoth Community Garden

Grant provided by the Local Food Capital Collaborative anathothgarden.org/
Anathoth Community Garden was founded in 2004 when in response to a local tragedy, Scnobia Taylor, donated five acres of land to Cedar Grove United Methodist Church. Anathoth is now a community of people of faith addressing root causes of violence, poverty, and malnutrition in rural communities by working collaboratively to create a more just, sustainable, and equitable food system. The organization operates a sliding-scale CSA, adult internship and youth employment programs, and regular community workdays, potlucks and celebrations.
