Georgette Wong

Georgette Wong is a recognized trailblazer in impact investing. From 2007-2012 she convened and curated the Take Action! Impact Investing Summit, which brought together pioneering asset owners, investors and thought-leaders representing over $4.5 trillion in assets. Georgette has presented on impact investing before the US Senate, the US State Department, the UN-backed Principles for Responsible Investment, and others. Most recently she has advised a U.S. Senator’s office on potential impact investing policy. Prior to her career in investing, she worked in civil rights and social justice at Asian Americans Advancing Justice/Asian Law Caucus, whose founders successfully challenged the unjust incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II. Georgette earned her MBA at UCLA Anderson and BA magna cum laude at Amherst College. She is active in her local community in the San Juan Islands (Washington State) as a Commissioner, San Juan County Planning Commission and as a volunteer for the Orcas Island School District.
