Wendy Cooper supports a diversity of individuals, organizations and collaborations to implement solutions to their philanthropic goals. She works with partners to achieve collective goals to gain a deeper understanding of geographies and issues, develop strategies to reflect interests and values, and implement grantmaking activities grounded in reciprocal relationships with communities and organizations. She has been an active member of the charitable and philanthropic community for more than 15 years, working for a government agency and charitable organizations at a national and community scale, as well as a consultant and a volunteer. Her work has spanned many topics during this time including freshwater health, land and water stewardship, reduction of harmful toxics, and Indigenous youth leadership. Wendy lives in rural Ontario with her family where they love to explore local forests, rivers and lakes.
