RSF’s funding will fuel 88 Acres as it delivers on a contract to provide nut-free, vegan, and health-conscious snack bars to Delta Airlines and doubles over the course of 2024.

Alabama Waldorf School

Alabama Waldorf School’s mission is to cultivate healthy, confident, compassionate learners who excel academically, socially, and civically. Our construction-to-mortgage loan supported their transition to their current home in Birmingham.

American Dance Institute (Lumberyard)

Lumberyard is a non-profit performing arts and film campus located in the heart of Catskill, New York.

American Halal Company (Saffron Road)

Through its Saffron Road brand, American Halal Company offers GMO-, antibiotic-, and hormone-free products that are certified Halal and gluten-free. RSF financing has provided them with the working capital they need to grow their business since 2015.

Anchorage Waldorf School

From humble beginnings as a home-based classroom, Anchorage Waldorf School has grown into the only independent Waldorf school in Alaska, serving nearly 100 students. RSF financed the school’s expansion into their current building in Anchorage.

Belay Enterprises

Belay Enterprises creates businesses that employ and job train people rebuilding lives from addiction, homelessness, and prison. RSF’s mortgage loan helped Belay expand into a new, better facility.

Boldr

Boldr is upending the traditional outsourcing industry by connecting businesses with global employees to build genuine opportunities for advancement. A line of credit from RSF ensures that Boldr has sufficient access to capital as it expands.

Bright Power

Bright Power’s mission is to accelerate the equitable transition to a zero-carbon future by providing sustainable energy solutions. An RSF line of credit is helping Bright Power expand solar installations across California.

Camphill Communities California

Camphill Communities California is an intentional community for adults with developmental disabilities and of all abilities to live, work, and learn together. A mortgage loan from RSF supported their move to their current property near Santa Cruz, CA.

Ceres Community Project

Ceres Community Project provides medically tailored meals for those facing a serious illness like cancer, diabetes or congestive heart failure. An RSF mortgage loan helped them acquire their current headquarters and community garden from the City of Sebastopol, CA.

Charlottesville Waldorf School

The mission of the Charlottesville Waldorf School is to cultivate the imagination, intellectual curiosity, and social responsibility of its students. Low-interest financing from RSF helped the school refinance costlier debt, freeing up funds to invest in the youth it serves.

Charter Foundation (Sebastopol Charter School)

The Charter Foundation is the fundraising organization for Sebastopol Charter School, a Public Waldorf charter school in Sebastopol, California. For more than two decades, RSF has served as one of the school’s primary financial partners.

Chicago Waldorf School

For fifty years, the Chicago Waldorf School has cultivated life-long learners by imbuing education with playful exploration and joyful passion. RSF financing helped them move from a facility they were fast outgrowing to their current home in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.

Cream Co. Meats (Green Pterodactyl)

Cream Co. Meats is building a more diverse and transparent meat market where chefs, butchers, and food service providers have easy access to quality meat, and farmers are celebrated for responsible land stewardship and given access to the resources they need to thrive. Cream Co. is using RSF financing to pay off its mortgage on its warehouse and access the working capital it needs to grow.

 

David Brower Center

The David Brower Center is a public center in Downtown Berkeley uniting art, activism, and the environment in a LEED platinum-rated building. RSF provided a mortgage loan in 2014 that allowed them to pay back their founding partners on time, and have served as the organization’s financial partner ever since.

Diaspora Co.

Diaspora Co. is growing a better spice trade by sourcing the highest quality spices from smallholder farmers in India – and making sure those farmers get paid three to five times the commodity price. RSF working capital is making sure Diaspora has access to the money it needs to fuel it through a period of exceptional growth.

Donkey & Goat

Berkeley’s first natural winery, Donkey & Goat has been producing sustainable, natural, and biodynamic wines since 2004. RSF has supported the business with working capital and by refinancing costlier credit since 2020.

Eastside Community School

Eastside Community School’s mission is to educate students to fulfill their highest potential—think clearly, feel deeply, impart meaningful purpose to their lives, and actively contribute to the positive development of society. Financing from RSF helped this Seattle area Waldorf school purchase its permanent campus.

École Rudolf Steiner de Montréal

Founded in 1980, École Rudolf Steiner de Montréal is the first accredited Waldorf school in the province of Quebec. RSF financing helped the school acquire its current campus – the first property the school owned instead of leased.

Eu’Genia Shea

Eu’Genia Shea is a family-run shea butter company. They offer fair wages and opportunities for women shea producers in Ghana. Credit from RSF helps this business ensure smooth operations and pay its workers in Ghana fairly and on time.

Eureka Recycling

Eureka Recycling is a nonprofit social enterprise based in the Twin Cities, whose mission is to demonstrate that waste is preventable, not inevitable. It is the only organization in Minnesota that specializes in zero waste. RSF has partnered with Calvert Foundation, Closed Loop Foundation, and Sunrise to offer the organization millions of dollars in essential financing.

Evergreen Treatment Services

At three clinics in Washington State, Evergreen Treatment Services offers essential medication-assisted treatment for adults with opioid use disorders. RSF teamed up with fellow lender Craft3 to finance the nonprofit’s purchase of its facilities.

Forward Global

Forward Global works with individual and family wealthholders to maximize social impact on today’s biggest problems. A line of credit from RSF ensured that this grant-funded organization would have steady access to capital throughout the year.

Frankford CDC (Economic Justice Partnership Fund)

Frankford Community Development Corporation (Frankford CDC) partnered with the City of Philadelphia on a transit-oriented development project around the Frankford SEPTA station, the second-busiest in Philadelphia. RSF partnered with Economic Justice Partnership Fund to finance affordable housing, a health center, and a supermarket.

Gen2 Waste to Energy

Gen2 converts plastics, tires, and municipal solid waste into extremely low-emission energy and fuel. RSF financing helped them acquire a factory in Stockton, CA, and convert it to a plastics-to-diesel plant that will expand its ability to produce recycled fuel.

Geos Institute

By helping them develop climate resilience plans, Geos Institute has helped more than 100 communities throughout the U.S. and Canada develop strategies to mitigate the impacts of climate change. RSF supported Geos Institute with both a mortgage loan and a no-strings-attached grant to help it weather the COVID-19 pandemic.

Glavel

Vermont-based manufacturer Glavel produces foam-glass gravel, an insulation product that is made of recycled materials and is carbon-free. RSF loans are helping Glavel expand into new facilities and increase its production of this sustainable building material.

Golden Bridges School

Golden Bridges School offers an innovative, place-based education steeped in the urban outdoors of the southern neighborhoods of San Francisco. They serve families with children aged Pre-K to 8th grade.

Goodr

Goodr addresses the twin crises of hunger and food waste by connecting food businesses with government agencies and nonprofits that feed communities. A line of credit from RSF is supporting this social enterprise through a period of exceptional growth.

Growing Gardens

Growing Gardens reconnects people with their local food systems by teaching gardening, cooking, and nutrition education. An RSF loan funded the construction of Growing Gardens’ Pollinator Pavilion, which houses the nonprofit’s offices and an open space for classes and events.

Guest House Retreat Center

Guest House is a retreat center for those seeking to develop human potential and enrich the world. RSF has been the center’s financial partner since 2008, when we offered them a mortgage loan to acquire their rural Connecticut property.

Innosphere Ventures

Innosphere Ventures is a science and technology incubator that supports entrepreneurs with specialized office and laboratory facilities and seed capital. RSF partnered with Native American Bank to finance Innosphere’s expansion into a new facility.

Kickstart International

Kickstart International distributes irrigation pumps to small-scale farmers in sub-Saharan Africa that would otherwise struggle to access clean water. RSF has supported this nonprofit with a line of credit since 2019.

Lotus Foods

Lotus Foods promotes rice farming practices that simultaneously mitigate climate change, promote farmers’ resilience, and empower women. RSF has supported Lotus Foods through both challenges and periods of growth with a line of credit since 2013.

Lucis Trust

Lucis Trust is a spiritual education center that promotes a new and better way of life for everyone in the world. A loan from RSF helped Lucis finance their first owned space in the 95-year history of the organization.

MacQuesten Development

RSF proudly supported energy-efficient affordable housing developments in Ossining and Yonkers, both just north of New York City. RSF purchased 50% participations in two separate predevelopment loans to MacQuesten Development led by NYCEEC.

Mad Capital

Mad Capital offers flexible funding to farmers as they transition from conventional to organic or biodynamic agriculture. Mad Capital is using credit from RSF to provide millions of dollars of much-needed financing to farmers in the Midwest and High Plains.

Maple Village Waldorf School

Maple Village Waldorf School fosters a compassionate and welcoming environment rooted in Waldorf education. A loan from RSF is helping them buy the building they have long called home, ensuring a permanent place for Long Beach’s Waldorf community.

Natural Investments

Natural Investments is a fellow pioneer in the regenerative finance space. A loan from RSF helped this wealth advisory firm make the bold transition to perpetual purpose ownership – ensuring that it remains mission-driven into perpetuity.

Nelson Waldorf School

Nelson Waldorf School offers a high-quality grade K-9 education to students in the mountainous community of Nelson, British Columbia. When they outgrew their old facility, RSF financed their acquisition of a new property.

Obran

Obran works towards a more equitable healthcare sector by acquiring existing healthcare businesses, converting them to cooperatives, and streamlining their operations by taking on their back-office functions. RSF helped them acquire the home health company Physicians Choice.

Options for Supported Housing

Options for Supported Housing provides safe, high-quality, and affordable community housing for adults with developmental disabilities. Since 2010, RSF financing has helped the organization purchase community homes and manage supportive services.

Pasadena Waldorf School

Pasadena Waldorf School is a community where students can find a passion for learning, be curious about the world around them, and discover their purpose in it. RSF financed their mortgage and offered them a line of credit that smoothed out their cash flow over the course of the school year.

Plankton Energy

Plankton Energy is a clean energy provider that installs and operates solar energy systems that serve schools, houses of worship, nonprofits, and small businesses. RSF financing supported four new solar installations in Massachusetts.

Regional Access

Regional Access is a logistics company that distributes locally and sustainably produced food across upstate New York. RSF has supported Regional Access since 2013 with both a mortgage loan and lines of credit.

Something Better Natural Foods

Something Better Natural Foods has a 30-year history of providing organic & natural foods, supplements, body care, and household products. Something Better came to RSF to consolidate existing debt into a single low-interest loan, freeing up valuable capital for the business.

St. John Boys Home

St. John Boys Home provides a safe and harmonious environment for teen boys with developmental disabilities, prioritizing Black and Latino youth referred from the juvenile justice system or foster care. A loan from RSF helped the organization purchase a building that will serve as a “one-stop shop” for the youth they support. 

Sunfield Education Association

Sunfield Education Association offers lifelong education around land conservation, responsible agricultural practices, and collaborative relationships. Since 2007, RSF has financed residences, classrooms, offices, and other real estate investments.

Sunwealth

RSF is financing Sunwealth solar installations that will provide $5.8 million in lifetime energy savings to the property owners, reduce over 74,000 metric tons of carbon emissions, and create over 100 lifetime job years for local solar developers.

Tashiro Arts Building

Tashiro Arts Building offers living and gallery space to a community of artists in Seattle’s Pioneer Square. RSF’s below-market-rate mortgage loan helps it keep the space affordable.

The Drawing Studio

The Drawing Studio is a Tuscon-based arts nonprofit that provides both free and low-cost arts classes to the surrounding community. RSF refinanced the organization’s mortgage, allowing it to spend less on costly interest payments and more on essential arts programs.

The Waldorf School of Tampa Bay

The goal of the Waldorf School of Tampa Bay is to goal is to educate the whole child to meet the world with grace, integrity and initiative. RSF has been the school’s partner since 2006, when it offered the school a mortgage loan for its current property.

Vilicus Farms / Iroquois Valley Farms

Founded in 2009, Vilicus Farms is a 7,400 acre organic crop farm in Montana’s Northern Great Plains. A low-interest loan to Iroquois Valley, a land trust that serves as Vilicus’ landlord, is helping ensure that Vilicus’ owners can continue to steward this land with biodynamic and organic farming techniques.

Viva Farms

Viva Farms exists to support aspiring small farmers, especially those that face language and economic barriers. An RSF mortgage loan funded the organization’s current property in rural Washington.

Waldorf School of DuPage

Waldorf School of DuPage creates an educational, child-centric experience  that inspires curiosity and embraces free-thinking. RSF financed the acquisition of the school’s current property in suburban Chicago.
