Zachary Smith

Zachary brings more than 25 years of experience across banking, investing and asset management, including at Wells Fargo, Crescent Capital Group and Morgan Stanley. He currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer and Head of CRA for Redemption Holding Company, the first and only African-American led minority depository institution (MDI) in Utah, aiming to bridge banking deserts and scale capital access. He is also a Partner at Black Ocean Capital, a lower-middle-market private equity firm. Zachary is a Trustee at Rowland Hall (an independent private school in Salt Lake City), and he Chairs the Advisory Board for Horizons National at Rowland Hall. He earned his Bachelors of Finance Degree from the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business.
