Alex Plowden

As Senior Manager, Investor and Donor Relations, Alex is responsible for attracting new sources of capital for the Social Investment Fund and DAF programs at RSF, expanding the organization’s capacity for impactful finance. Alex has raised grants and impact investments for the Local Enterprise Assistance Fund, a Boston-based CDFI that specializes in cooperative lending; contributed to the young farmer movement at Greenhorns and Smithereen Farm, an educational nonprofit and working-teaching farm in Downeast Maine; and serves on the Board of the Lubec Community Outreach Center. Alex holds a BA in Informed Regional Planning and a Master’s of Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
