Ben Gordon

Ben manages certain aspects of RSF’s credit and risk team while leading the underwriting of new and existing borrowers. Prior to RSF, he worked for 11 years working for and lending to CDFIs, most notably as an underwriter at Nonprofit Finance Fund and an analyst/manager for the CRA departments at Schwab Bank and Merrill Lynch Bank. Between these lending roles, he helped grow an international youth development organization while living in Nicaragua and Ecuador and started a PhD in agricultural and resource economics at UC Berkeley. His diverse and wide-ranging background lends itself well to the wide and growing lending practice here at RSF.
