Stephanie Rynas

Stephanie Rynas became a Trustee in 2018. She is the Executive Director, Operations and Member Resources at the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA). Previously, she was the Administrator at Waldorf School of the Peninsula (WSP) for 10 years. During her time as the WSP administrator, she supported Waldorf Schools in northern California as the leadership council representative for AWSNA and taught woodworking at the school. She is interested in school sustainability and advancing access to Waldorf education. Before focusing her resources towards Waldorf education, Stephanie spent 20 years in marketing and management for technology firms in Silicon Valley. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and her MBA from Santa Clara University. She received her Waldorf teacher training certificate from Rudolf Steiner College. Stephanie lives in San Jose, California with her wife Carrie.
