The Catalyst Fund

 

Traditional philanthropy spends a dollar once. Every dollar donated to the Catalyst Fund unlocks $40 in impact.  

Here’s how it works: 

  • Plant a seed. Donate to RSF’s Catalyst Fund. 
  • Foster powerful, regenerative growth. Your gift catalyzes loans to social entrepreneurs at a rate of 40x the amount of your gift; when you give $1 million; RSF can lend an additional $40 million. 
  • Harvest transformation. Those loans finance clean energy solutions, regenerative farms, fair trade businesses, living wages, food waste solutions, thriving local economies and much more.

Why give?

 

Donations to RSF support the engine that keeps RSF’s operations running.

They pay for our invaluable staff. They fund the systems that ensure a seamless experience for our investors, donors, and borrowers. And they help us keep our interest rates as low as possible for our borrowers – meaning that the mission-driven enterprises regenerating the world can easily access the money they need to expand their impact.

Other ways to give

 

  • When purchasing a new note, you can simply check the box to donate 50 or 100% of your earned interest to RSF. If you currently hold a note and would like to begin donating interest, reach out to sif@rsfsociafinance.org.  

  • You can give to RSF through your DAF, whether it’s sponsored by RSF or another DAF sponsor. You can recommend a gift from your RSF DAF directly from the Client Portal, or, if your DAF is held by another custodian, you can ask their client services team to process a grant to RSF.
