Women's Capital Collaborative

The Women’s Capital Collaborative supports the diverse needs of women-led social enterprises in the U.S. These organizations are often underfunded and overlooked by angel investors, venture capital firms, and other conventional funders. In fact, out of the nearly 7,000 companies that received venture capital from 2011 to 2013, fewer than three percent were led by women. And although there are mutual funds, venture funds, and business incubators that use a gender lens, our Women’s Capital Collaborative is the first source of holistic, integrated capital to support women-led organizations with a social mission.

We are passionate about creating more inclusive financial systems by shifting the current power and influence structures in our communities and networks, and by providing greater access to capital for women entrepreneurs through our integrated capital approach.
