New RSF Loan to B Lab!

RSF recently made a loan to B Lab, the nonprofit organization that certifies and supports B Corporations – companies that are using the power of business to solve social and environmental problems.  Through their comprehensive and transparent social and environmental standards (the B Rating System), B Lab is creating a new, reliable benchmark for consumers and investors to use in determining which businesses to support.  One of the requirements for certification is that companies must institutionalize their values by amending their corporate governing documents to incorporate the interests of employees, community, and the environment.  RSF is excited to be providing support to B Lab in the form of a guarantee loan that will be used for operational costs as the two-year-old organization is beginning to realize licensing revenue.  Additionally, RSF is proud to acknowledge that RSF Capital Management, Inc, is among the more than 200 certified B Corporations.  To find out more about B Lab and B Corporations, visit www.bcorporation.net.
